About JS Atelier

Specializing in props and costumes, JS Atelier was created to serve the artistic and events market in general. Under the supervision of costume designer Jussara Santos and prop designer Mariana Magalhães, its objective is to create the elements of artistic attire, working within the most diverse film, theater, television and commercial productions, carrying out specific technical work focused on the world of entertainment.

Among the work carried out, we can highlight: the production of around 4 thousand pieces, including costumes and props, in a record time of 21 days, for the film “Kilimanjaro” (Robot), produced by Utopia Films, aimed at the great Indian film industry, “Bollywood”, signed by costume designer Letícia Gicovate. And the commercial “Golias”, launching the Chevrolet Celta 2006, produced by Conspiração Filmes and signed by costume designer Vera Queiroz, where 400 costumes with armor were built in just 7 days.

Currently part of the production is focused on the Cosplay and Medieval world.

About Jussara Santos

Born in Rio de Janeiro, Jussara Santos began her career early, influenced by her mother, the artist Noelcy Santos. She enrolled at the Escola de Belas Artes-UFRJ, where she studied Performing Arts, with a specialization in Scenography and Costume Design. During college, she gained experience in the world of carnival, working with the carpentry team of the Unidos da Tijuca and Império da Tijuca samba schools. During this period, she also worked as a set design assistant in several operas performed at INACEM and the UFRJ School of Music. Newly graduated, Jussara Santos entered the field of costume design and was hired by TV Globo, thus beginning her career in television. Among the costume designers he has worked with, we can highlight Beth Filipeck, Billy Accioly, Cao Albuquerque, Emília Duncan, Gogoya Sampaio, Helena Brício, Lessa de Lacerda, Lúcia Daddário, Marília Carneiro, Paulo Lois, Rô Gonçalves and Vera Queiroz.
